Women for Murray Day of Action

With less than sixty days to the election, please join us for a gathering of Women for Patty Murray for our Day of Action on September 14, 2010 at 6:30pm.

We hope you can participate not only as a proud Patty Murray supporter, but as woman dedicated to working to move Washington State forward.  In addition to hearing the experiences of other women throughout the county and getting campaign updates from local staff, there will be refreshments available -- we encourage you to share your favorite dish as a potluck item.  Or just enjoy our complimentary coffee and beverages!

As you undoubtedly know, Senator Murray went to Olympia to lobby against cuts to her children's preschool program, and in the midst of her effort, one state legislator told her she was "just a mom in tennis shoes." Luckily, she continued her fight.  Eighteen years ago, Patty became the first woman to serve our state in the US Senate.  Next week, please join us as she celebrates that legacy – and ensure we can keep here there in 2011 and beyond!
