Fiestas Patrias

Join the Northwest Washington Hispanic Chamber of Commerce for a parade and festival to celebrate Mexican Independence Day, and national holidays in several other Spanish-speaking countries. Fun events at the festival include a low-rider car competition, the crowning of Miss Fiestas Patrias, games for children, folkloric dancing, music, and great food.

The 42nd LD Democrats will have a booth at the event and we'll collect declarations of support for Health Care Reform, along with making Health Prayer Flags-write your story of why health care reform is important to you!

12 noon Parade in downtown Ferndale
1 pm Fiesta begins in Pioneer Park
Admission is $1 to the park and benefits Ferndale Downtown Development Association; veterans and kids under 12 get in free!
