A Veterans Day Tribute to our Fallen Troops

Brief ceremony at 11:11 am on Wednesday to include words of inspiration by a local pastor, a bugle salute of Taps and a release of doves.

Bellingham’s Veterans for Peace Chapter 111, www.vfp111.org , is once again sponsoring ARLINGTON NORTHWEST, a traveling exhibit honoring our fallen troops in Iraq and Afghanistan. This year’s display of over 5,000 markers, fashioned after Arlington National Cemetery, will be arrayed over the entire 5 acres of Sunnyland Memorial Park.
