Yard Sale

This is another way to help us WIN IN NOVEMBER

The Whatcom Dem’s Annual Yard Sale is fast approaching, and our goal is to bring in $1800  or more this so we can help our candidates during the now-upon-us election season.

PLEASE DONATE household and kitchen items, clothing in good condition (on or with hangers), working small electronics, small pieces of furniture, collectables, books, DVDs, CDs, costume jewelry, scarves, hats, etc. As usual, we cannot accept upholstered items, bedding, mattresses, or computer parts.

 So please plan to (A) donate, and (B) to come by for campaign signs and literature, shopping, a cup of joe, a cookie or two, and take a shift helping other passionate Democrats. And there should be plenty of political buttons for collectors.

How to donate: Call 647-7661, 10 AM - 2 PM for drop locations. We will help you unload. You can also bring your things to our office. And we are more than happy to help you sort or pack things if this will make donating easier

Donating is easy: All we need is your name and the flea-market (fair-market) value which we document as an in-kind donation to the Whatcom County Democrats.

Volunteer: It takes many hands to pull off a successful yard sale.
Sort and price things September 20-24
Transport some items Sept 24
Work the sale in 2-3 hour shifts between the hours of 7 a.m. when set-up begins, and 3 p.m. when tear down is complete.
