WHEREAS, we recognize alcohol abuse as a public health issue

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Whatcom County Democratic Party (WCDCC) proposes a tax on alcohol promotion and advertising with proceeds earmarked for education, treatment, and harm reduction.
