Oppose 'Divine Strake' Testing
WHEREAS above ground bomb testing is scheduled in Nevada on June 2, 2006; and
WHEREAS such testing endangers life in that area; and
WHEREAS testing of such magnitude sends a negative message to the rest of the world; and
WHEREAS the testing is opposed by Native Peoples whose land is being used for the testing;
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Whatcom County Democrats (WCDCC) oppose the testing called ‘Divine Strake’.
