Medicare Prescriptions

BE IT RESOLVED that the Whatcom County Democrats (WCDCC) direct our Washington Congressional delegation to revise Medicare prescription law to have:

  1. Less co-pay or no co-pay for low-income patients; and
  2. Lower premiums; and
  3. Less choice in plans; and
  4. An allowance for state governments to negotiate with prescription drug companies and/or insurance companies for prescription drugs; and
  5. An allowance for U.S. citizens to purchase medications from other countries.
